The first ever CSF event took place in Aurora, Colorado on November 15, 2007. It was a wonderful and groundbreaking event. The event was hosted by Casey Jo McKim and her family. Paul Farrell, CSF’s Chairman was the guest speaker and Dr. John Oro presented the medical portion of the event. The event was well attended by about 65 people. $10,000 was raised that night with an additional $8,000 pledged over the next four years. A special thanks to the Valmont Charity Golf Tournament for their generous donation of $4,500.

We are so proud of the funds and the awareness raised, and for the support given to all who attended. We believe that Colorado will be on the forefront of research fund raising and support for all who suffer with Chiari and syringomyelia. More events are being planned for Colorado and the surrounding areas for the upcoming year. Keep your eyes and ears open for new information!
