About Dr. Huh: Dr. Billy Huh received a BS in Physics from Georgia Tech in 1980 and went on to receive an MS in 1982 and a PhD in 1985, both in Chemical Engineering at Georgia Tech. Dr. Huh then received his MD from the University of Alabama in 1993. He completed a rotating internship year at the University of North Carolina Hospitals and continued at UNC Hospitals to complete a residency in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in Pain Management. Dr. Huh was then recruited to Duke University Medical Center in 1998 and is currently an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology. Dr. Huh specializes in complex regional pain syndrome, neuropathic pain, cancer pain managements, neurolytics, low back pain, migraines/headaches, and spasticity. Dr. Huh also specializes in various pain treatments such as spinal cord stimulator implants, intrathecal pumps, radiofrequency ablation, epidural steroid injections, as well as alternative medicine in the management of chronic pain, such as acupuncture and acupressure. Dr. Huh is also very active in the Duke University medical community as a teacher, lecturer, and mentor with the medical school and residency/fellowship programs.
