About Dr. Grant: Dr. Gerald Grant received his BS in Neurosciences and German from the Duke University Medical Center in 1989, and his MD from the Stanford University Medical Center in 1994. He was a resident in Neurosurgery at the University of Washington and a Fellow at Atkinson Morley's Hospital in London and the Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle. He served on active duty with the US Air Force medical corps and served in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dr. Grant was then recruited to Duke University Medical Center and currently is an Associate Professor of Pediatric Neurosurgery. Dr. Grant specializes in the evaluation and treatment of patients with Chiari malformations.
